The APR Performance GTC-300 Adjustable Wing is a high-performance aerodynamic component engineered to improve rear-end balance for motorsports and track-focused vehicles. Designed to generate high levels of downforce while minimizing drag, the GTC-300 enhances cornering grip, braking stability, and high-speed control.

Key Technical Features

Advanced Airfoil Design (CFD Developed)

The GTC-300 airfoil profile is developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. The cambered shape creates a strong pressure differential between the upper and lower surfaces, promoting airflow attachment and reducing flow separation at high speeds for improved rear stability without excessive drag penalties.

Adjustable Angle of Attack (0°–15°)

The fully adjustable angle of attack allows precise aerodynamic tuning based on track conditions and performance goals:

• Higher angles: Increased downforce for enhanced braking and cornering grip

• Lower angles: Reduced drag for improved straight-line speed

This flexibility allows quick adaptation to technical circuits or high-speed tracks.

Aerodynamic Efficiency & Performance

Engineered to achieve an 8.8:1 downforce-to-drag ratio, the GTC-300 delivers strong rear grip while maintaining efficient straight-line performance. The adjustable configuration allows drivers to balance stability and speed depending on circuit demands.

Downforce & Drag Characteristics

At higher settings, the wing increases vertical load on the rear tires, improving traction and cornering capability. At lower settings, aerodynamic resistance is minimized, supporting higher top speeds and improved acceleration.

Carbon Fiber Construction

Constructed from pre-preg woven carbon fiber and autoclave-cured in aluminum billet molds, the GTC-300 provides:

Adjustable Pedestals & Mounting System

The wing utilizes 10mm aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum risers with angle adjustability. This mounting system allows fine-tuning of wing height and positioning to optimize airflow and downforce distribution relative to vehicle ride height.
