Subiefest California 2026: A Day Celebrating the Subaru Community
Every year, Subaru enthusiasts from across the West Coast circle one date on their calendars: Subiefest California. Held at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, the annual event brings together thousands of Subaru owners, aftermarket manufacturers, vendors, and enthusiasts for one of the largest Subaru gatherings in the world.
This year was no different.
Starting the Weekend Together
Before heading to Subiefest, we organized our own Pre-Meet & Cruise, giving members of the community a chance to gather, catch up, and drive into the event together. While getting dozens of cars on the road at the same time is never perfect, it made arriving as one group that much more memorable.
The drive reminded us that some of the best moments in the Subaru community happen before you even reach the destination.
Walking the Show
Once inside, there was no shortage of incredible builds to check out. From meticulously restored classics to purpose-built track cars, overland rigs, daily drivers, and some of the cleanest WRXs, STIs, BRZs, and Foresters in the country, there was inspiration around every corner.
The vendor midway was packed with the latest products, industry leaders, and familiar faces from brands that continue to support the Subaru aftermarket. Whether you were looking for performance upgrades, suspension components, wheels, or simply wanted to talk shop, there was something for everyone.
The People Make the Event
As impressive as the cars are, they're only half the story.
Subiefest has always been about the people behind the builds. Friends meeting up after months apart, families enjoying the event together, owners proudly sharing the stories behind their cars, and newcomers experiencing the Subaru community for the very first time.
It's a reminder that these cars have a unique way of bringing people together.
Celebrating the Winners
Congratulations to everyone who took home an award this year. We were especially excited to see several friends recognized for the countless hours they've invested into their builds. Every award-winning car represents hundreds, sometimes thousands, of hours of planning, wrenching, and dedication.
Well deserved to everyone who earned a trophy.
Looking Ahead
Subiefest California continues to be one of the biggest celebrations of Subaru culture anywhere in the country, and it's always a highlight of our year. While every event has room to grow, it's hard to beat spending a day surrounded by passionate enthusiasts who all share the same love for the brand.
